Experience in construction, and building maintenance, and a degree or certification from a technical school will be beneficial in this role.</p>\n<p><strong><u>Pay Rate: $18-20/Hr (Depends on Experience)</u></strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform and ensure that all work orders are completed in the time allotted.</li>\n <li>Assist with rehabilitation of building within specified turnaround guidelines, including proficiency of specialty projects, i.e. drywall, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.</li>\n <li>Perform preventive maintenance and inspection of building.</li>\n <li>Assist managers in daily duties, including correspondence with staff, customers, and vendors.</li>\n <li>Ensure the property is maintained and in acceptable condition including interiors, exteriors, and landscaping.</li>\n <li>Stock and maintain shop area as needed.</li>\n <li>Plans maintenance-related projects and oversee the completion</li>\n <li>Resolves issues and answers questions related to work methods /processes</li>\n <li>Schedules and performs repair tasks, including preventative and general maintenance</li>\n <li>Completes related documentation</li>\n <li>Inspects and maintains tools and equipment to ensure proper working order</li>\n <li>May drive on company business</li>\n <li>Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment</li>\n <li>Prepare and submit all required reports and activities in a timely and accurate manner.</li>\n <li>Adhere to policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Requisition supplies and equipment needed for maintenance duties.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE).</li>\n <li>Knowledge of blood-borne pathogens (BBP) and the ability to safely clean blood-borne pathogens (BBP).</li>\n <li>Various other job duties as asked by supervisor.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>COMPETENCIES/SKILLS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment.</li>\n <li>Ability to adapt to and work effectively within a constantly changing environment.</li>\n <li>Organization and attention to detail</li>\n <li>High energy Level</li>\n <li>Persistence</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>2-4 years of previous building maintenance experience</li>\n <li>Valid driver's license and ability to be insured to drive a company vehicle</li>\n <li>Previous safety training and/or building maintenance-related certifications</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time</li>\n <li>Ability to perform repetitive tasks, manual dexterity</li>\n <li>Vision abilities required include close, distance, and depth perception</li>\n <li>Lifting 100 pounds</li>\n <li>Ability to walk a long distance on hard surfaces</li>\n <li>Ability to work under fluorescent lighting</li>\n <li>Climate is affected by outside conditions.</li>\n <li>Considerable exterior noise</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Pay: Minimum starting rate is $18.
