In this role, you will be responsible for the critical infrastructure setup within data centers, including installing data cabinets, supporting pathways such as basket trays, and running pre-connectorized fiber. You will play a key part in ensuring that our data centers operate efficiently, reliably, and securely.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Data Cabinet Installation</strong>: Install and align data cabinets and racks according to technical specifications and project requirements.</li><li><strong>Pathway Support Setup</strong>: Design and install pathway support systems, such as basket trays and cable management solutions, ensuring optimal organization and efficiency.</li><li><strong>Fiber Optic Installation</strong>: Run, terminate, and secure pre-connectorized fiber cables, ensuring accuracy and reliability in data transmission.</li><li><strong>System Integration</strong>: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with existing systems.</li><li><strong>Quality Assurance</strong>: Conduct testing and inspections to ensure installations meet industry standards and company guidelines.</li><li><strong>Documentation</strong>: Maintain detailed records of installations, configurations, and modifications within the data center.</li><li><strong>Safety Adherence</strong>: Comply with all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a safe and secure working environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:<br><br>Required Skills and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated experience in <strong>data center installation</strong> or a related technical field.</li><li>Expertise in installing <strong>data cabinets</strong>, <strong>rack systems</strong>, and supporting infrastructure such as <strong>basket trays</strong>.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>pre-connectorized fiber cable</strong> installation and management.</li><li>Familiarity with data center standards such as <strong>TIA/EIA-942</strong> and <strong>BICSI</strong> guidelines.</li><li>Strong ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and layouts.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Relevant certifications such as <strong>BICSI Technician</strong>, <strong>RCDD</strong>, or <strong>Fiber Optic Technician</strong>.</li><li>Experience working within operational data centers.</li><li>Knowledge of structured cabling systems and industry best practices.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Capability to lift and handle equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights as required.</li><li>Flexibility to work extended hours or shifts based on project demands.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Join The Archetype Strategy?</strong></p><p>At <strong>The Archetype Strategy</strong>, we focus on delivering tailored solutions that optimize and transform operational excellence for our clients.
