    "description": "<p>We are looking for a highly skilled <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Data Governance Specialist </span>to establish and enforce best practices for data management, privacy, and compliance.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This role focuses on empowering businesses by ensuring data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.<br>You will work closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, and Compliance teams to define policies, standards, and processes that protect and optimize data assets.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and enforce <strong>data governance policies, standards, and best practices</strong>.</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with <strong>GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other data privacy regulations</strong>.</li>\n<li>Define and maintain <strong>data classification, metadata management, and data lineage tracking</strong>.</li>\n<li>Implement <strong>data security and access control measures</strong> in cloud and on-prem environments.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with <strong>engineering and business teams</strong> to ensure <strong>data accuracy and consistency</strong>.</li>\n<li>Monitor and maintain <strong>data quality metrics</strong>, using automated validation and anomaly detection.</li>\n<li>Work with <strong>Data Engineers</strong> to implement <strong>data cataloging and master data management (MDM)</strong> solutions.</li>\n<li>Drive <strong>data stewardship programs</strong> across the organization to promote a data-driven culture.</li>\n<li>Provide <strong>training and awareness</strong> on data governance policies and best practices.</li>\n<li>Evaluate and implement <strong>data governance tools</strong> such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica, or Talend.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong></strong><br></p>\n<p><strong></strong><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><strong>Requirements</strong></span></p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong understanding of <strong>data governance frameworks, data privacy, and compliance</strong>.</li>\n<li>Experience with <strong>data quality management and master data management (MDM)</strong>.</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with <strong>data governance tools</strong> (Collibra, Talend, Informatica, Alation).</li>\n<li>Knowledge of <strong>metadata management, data lineage, and cataloging techniques</strong>.</li>\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>SQL, NoSQL, and cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)</strong>.</li>\n<li>Experience in <strong>data security, access control, and risk management</strong>.</li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.</li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in <strong>AI/ML data governance</strong> and ethical AI practices.<br></li>\n<li>Certifications in <strong>Data Governance, Data Privacy, or Information Security (e.g., DCAM, CDMP, CIPP)</strong>.<br></li>\n<li>Experience with <strong>automated data validation, anomaly detection, and compliance monitoring</strong>.<br></li>\n<li>Knowledge of <strong>data lakehouse architectures and cloud-based data governance models</strong>.<br></li>\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>data ethics, responsible AI, and fair data practices</strong>.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>",
