    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Drives a tractor-trailer combination transporting and delivering household goods in loose or packaged form supporting local or short-haul move projects as scheduled and assigned by dispatch.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for transport of household goods and furniture from origin to destination.</li>\n <li>Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition.</li>\n <li>Responsible for maintaining clean, safe, operating condition of assigned vehicles and equipment.</li>\n <li>Maintains driver log according to FMCSA regulations.</li>\n <li>Manages workers in loading and unloading goods, material, and equipment.</li>\n <li>Adheres to all safety, OSHA, and DOT regulations in accordance with the Company’s Safety Program and initiatives.</li>\n <li>Adherence to drug-free workplace initiatives.</li>\n <li>Manages on-site crews to ensure efficient and effective service and delivery to clients and homeowners.</li>\n <li>Actively participates in moving materials, equipment, furniture, household goods, and managing packing and crating of valuables and hard-to-move items.</li>\n <li>Maintains tool kit for the installation, assembly and breakdown of furniture, cubicles, or other items for transport.</li>\n <li>Acts as liaison with customer service reps, dispatch, and warehouse staff to meet Company’s obligations to the client.</li>\n <li>Responsible for accurate and complete transactions on all paperwork; securing signatures, collection of payment, and reconciliation of discrepancies.</li>\n <li>Submit paperwork to Dispatchers to validate crew man-hours and report any incidents.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Active Class \"A\" CDL License</li>\n <li>Prior moving & storage or furniture delivery experience a plus</li>\n <li>Experience as a crew leader or supervisor</li>\n <li>Must pass a DOT physical</li>\n <li>1+ years of experience driving with a commercial license</li>\n <li>Capable of lifting 50+ lbs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>About</h2>\n<p><strong>About JK Moving Services</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>As the largest independent mover in North America, JK delivers superior relocation and logistics services to military service members, government agencies, large corporations, businesses and homeowners around the world….and the list goes on!
