    "description": "<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Registered Nurse will enhance the doctor/patient relationship within the Midland Health healthcare offices by exhibit professional nursing judgment and skills.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SHIFT AND SCHEDULE</strong></p>\n<p>Full Time, Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM</p>\n<p><strong><u></u>ESSENTIAL FUNCATIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS</strong></p>\n<p>• assume an organizational and leadership position, and encourage an optimum environment among fellow employees of:      o communication,       o performance,       o teamwork, and       o customer service.• Effectively delegate work and manage delegated work to completion• Triage and assess patients, • Prepare patients for examination and testing, • document patient communication and circumstance, and • administer medications, treatments, or testing as directed by NP, PA or Physician.• Inform and/or advise patients of results, doctor's advice or required treatment/appointment. • respond to patients needs for education, • doctor referrals, • refill of medications. • continual assessment of the office environment relating to patients and co-workers; • organization, cleanliness, privacy, security, and safety.• Manage medical supplies, instruments, and equipment including proper storage, cleaning and monitoring requirements for operation.• Maintain a professional attitude and work attire and adhere to office policies.</p>\n<p>  </p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p>\n<p>• You must have either a current Texas professional RN license with 1-2 years of nursing practice, an additional one to two years office experience preferred but not required.• You should also possess a knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols, policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety and patient confidentiality, and EHR reporting and records.• You should be able to appropriately assess and assist, use universal precautions, safe workplace and confidentiality methods, and appropriately chart patient data.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p>\n<p>· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. <strong><u>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions</u></strong>. The individual must be able to: Ø Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear. Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff. The individual must use an assisted-lift device or get another individual(s) to assist with the lift that is over these maximum limits.</p>",
