We're a tight-knit team of engineers, physicists, and technical professionals solving complex challenges in national defense — and we're looking for people who take pride in getting the details right.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>As an AS9100D-certified small business supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Missile Defense Agency, we move fast, trust our people, and give team members real ownership of their work. Unlike larger organizations, you'll work directly with our Senior Manufacturing Engineer, machinists, and technical staff to learn the full process — from CAM programming through production support.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is not a pure operator role. The right candidate wants to understand how parts are made, not just run them — and is eager to develop their programming and process planning skills in a high-mix aerospace manufacturing environment.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Primary Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop CNC programs for machined aerospace components under the guidance of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer</li>\n<li>Learn and apply process planning fundamentals including sequence of operations, setup strategy, and tooling selection</li>\n<li>Support setup sheet and routing documentation development</li>\n<li>Assist in proving out jobs on the shop floor alongside machinists</li>\n<li>Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce setup times and improve repeatability</li>\n<li>Assist in troubleshooting machining issues and production bottlenecks</li>\n<li>Develop and maintain process documentation and best practices under senior guidance</li>\n<li>Work closely with machinists, quality, and engineering teams to support production readiness</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>0-2 years of experience in CNC machining, manufacturing engineering, or related technical field — or equivalent education and experience</li>\n<li>Basic understanding of CNC machining principles including feeds, speeds, and tooling</li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and GD&amp;T</li>\n<li>Eagerness to learn CAM programming and process planning in a production environment</li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude</li>\n<li>Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a clearance</li>\n<li>Must be a U.S. citizen</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Preferred Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Associate or bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field — or equivalent professional experience</li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with CNC machining as an operator or programmer</li>\n<li>Exposure to CAM software (Mastercam, NX, Fusion, HyperMill, Esprit, or similar)</li>\n<li>Familiarity with multi-axis CNC machining (3/4/5-axis)</li>\n<li>Experience with Mazak or similar CNC equipment</li>\n<li>Familiarity with high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments</li>\n<li>Familiarity with AS9100D or aerospace manufacturing standards</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What Success Looks Like</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developing proficiency in CAM programming and setup planning under senior guidance</li>\n<li>Building understanding of how design intent translates to machining strategy</li>\n<li>Contributing to documented, repeatable processes on the shop floor</li>\n<li>Growing into an independent programmer capable of owning jobs end to end</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This is a full-time salaried position with highly competitive compensation based on experience and skills, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for career growth.
