We’re looking for a proactive and resilient <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Control Centre Supervisor</span> to join our operations team and help ensure safe, reliable, and customer-focused service delivery across our network.</p>\n<p>This is a fast-paced, real-time operations role where your decisions directly impact service performance, safety, and customer experience.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the role</span></span></p>\n<p>As a Control Centre Supervisor, you’ll oversee live bus operations from a central control environment. You’ll manage on-road service delivery, respond to incidents, support drivers and depots, and ensure operational KPIs and safety standards are consistently met.</p>\n<p>You’ll work closely with Depot Supervisors, drivers, and external partners to keep services moving—especially when things don’t go to plan.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key responsibilities:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitor live bus services and make real-time decisions to manage disruptions, delays, and breakdowns</li>\n<li>Coordinate bus movements and communicate clear instructions to drivers and depot teams</li>\n<li>Respond to incidents and emergencies with a people and safety first approach, escalating where required</li>\n<li>Ensure all incidents, near misses, and accidents are accurately recorded and resolved</li>\n<li>Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company requirements</li>\n<li>Maintain timetable integrity and update operational systems in real time</li>\n<li>Document service impacts, driver performance issues, and operational disruptions</li>\n<li>Produce operational reports to support KPI tracking and investigations</li>\n<li>Respond to driver and customer queries and work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we are looking for:</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure</li>\n<li>Proven problem-solving and decision-making capability</li>\n<li>High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills</li>\n<li>Confidence using technology and operational systems</li>\n<li>Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced, live environment</li>\n<li>Team-focused mindset with a collaborative approach</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Desirable</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in public transport, logistics, or a large operational environment</li>\n<li>Exposure to real-time operations, control rooms, or dispatch environments</li>\n<li>Experience working with telematics, scheduling, or live monitoring tools</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">If you thrive in a fast-paced operational environment, enjoy making real-time decisions, and take pride in keeping services running safely and smoothly, we’d love to hear from you.</span></p>\n<p><span>Candidates for this position must be in New Zealand and have the right to work in New Zealand at the time of application.</span></p>",
