SOMMAIRE DU POSTE L'Enseignant(e) du Premier Degré (Professeur des Écoles) est responsable de l'éducation des élèves de sa/ses classe(s). Il est également du rôle de chaque enseignant du Premier Degré de s'assurer que tous les élèves sont en sécurité, protégés et correctement surveillés en tout temps. Assumer la responsabilité de l'éducation des élèves de sa/ses classe(s) et enseigner les classes attribuées par le Directeur de l'école primaire. Tenir à jour des registres complets et précis du travail effectué en classe ainsi que des progrès individuels des élèves. Corriger régulièrement et en temps opportun toutes les tâches effectuées par les élèves. Informer les parents des progrès des élèves au moyen de bulletins scolaires et, si nécessaire, de lettres ou de réunions individuelles, et être disponible pour toutes les rencontres parents-professeurs. Participer activement aux réunions pédagogiques, conseils des maîtres et groupes de travail, en collaborant efficacement avec les autres membres du personnel. Assister et participer aux programmes de développement professionnel qui lui sont attribués. Assurer le comportement approprié des élèves en classe et autour de l'école, et tenir le Directeur de l'école primaire et l'administration informés des absences, des retards ou des problèmes de discipline des élèves. Prendre soin de la/des salle(s) de classe, en s'assurant qu'elle/elles soi(en)t décorée(s) de manière attrayante et propice à l'apprentissage. Maintenir les inventaires de tous les manuels et matériels distribués aux élèves et assurer leur retour. Maintenir une tenue et une apparence professionnelle et faire preuve d'un comportement consciencieux et responsable lors des interactions avec les élèves, les parents, les organismes communautaires et les collègues. Se tenir informé des tendances et des meilleures pratiques pédagogiques pour renforcer l’efficacité de son enseignement. Utiliser et intégrer la technologie comme un outil d'apprentissage efficace en classe et avec les élèves. QUALIFICATIONS Exigences Minimales Détenir la désignation de « Professeur des Écoles Titulaire de l’Éducation Nationale » ou un diplôme de Maîtrise / Première année de Master, ou supérieur, en enseignement secondaire d'une université ou d'un collège accrédité, ou détenir un diplôme d'enseignement avec un minimum de deux ans d’expérience d'enseignement dans le groupe pertinent. POSITION SUMMARY The Primary School Teacher (Professeur des Écoles) is responsible for the education of the students in their class(es). It is the role of each Primary School teacher to be sure that all students are safe, secure, and properly supervised at all times. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Hold the designation of “Professeur des Écoles Titulaire de l’Education Nationale” or a Bachelor’s degree ( Maîtrise or Master 1 , Higher preferred) in Secondary Education from an accredited college or university, or hold a teaching degree with a minimum of two years’ experience of teaching in the relevant group.
