The Aerospace Group supports a variety of commercial (NASCAR, IndyCar) and government (Missile Defense Agency, Navy Missile Defense) programs through the application of Computational Fluid Dynamics. Corvid provides a virtual design environment where high-fidelity models are used to analyze engineering systems prior to build and test using our propriety software, RavenCFD.</p><p><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Strong background in fluid dynamics with experience in all Mach regimes (low-subsonic to hypersonic)</li><li>Strong background in Applied CFD methods</li><li>Working knowledge of static and dynamic stability and flight dynamics modeling</li><li>Knowledge of CAD modeling, TAOS (or other 6-DoF) software, Pointwise software, and GNC</li><li>US Citizenship required</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Grid generation and development on complex internal/external geometries</li><li>Development and execution of CFD solutions and application of the results to systems of interest</li><li>Day-to-day informal and formal report generation</li></ul><p><strong>Why Corvid:<br></strong></p><p>Founded in 2004, we are a group of over 300 engineers and scientists, about 3/4 with master&rsquo; degrees or Ph.D.&#39;s, that provide end-to-end solutions including concept development, design and optimization, prototype build, test and manufacture. &nbsp;We leverage the predictive capability of our high-fidelity computational physics solvers, indigenous massively parallel supercomputer system, prototyping plant, and ballistics and mechanics lab to investigate a variety of high-rate physics phenomena.&nbsp;</p><p>The results are complex engineering solutions for a variety of applications; aircraft, ballistic missile defense, cybersecurity, motorsports, armor development, biological systems, and missile and warhead design and development. &nbsp;These results are achieved with optimal design and cost efficiency due to the predictive capability of Corvid&rsquo;s tools and our in-house, end-to-end integrated approach, which differentiates Corvid from the market.</p><p><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n    </div>\n  \n",
