    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Filtration Group is on a mission to make the world safer, healthier and more productive. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Columbus Industries is part of Filtration Group, a global market-leading provider of filtration consumables that drives innovation and delivers solutions across a broad spectrum of applications and end-markets, with a focus on life sciences, indoor air quality and industrial technologies.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Filtration Group is looking for a Production Associate.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>About the Role:</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Operate one or more pieces of machinery across multiple departments.  </li>\n <li>Perform operations efficiently and safely with minimal supervision.  </li>\n <li>Monitor production to assure quality standards are met.  </li>\n <li>Able to train new operators. </li>\n <li>Be able to shift between departments based on demand fluctuations in critical positions.</li>\n <li>Assist the Line Lead and Group Lead with ensuring the department follows the production schedule</li>\n <li>Provide coverage in the absence of Line Leads and Group Leads for supervisory responsibilities when necessary</li>\n <li>Start and stop machine at specified intervals. Operate machine(s) per specifications at standard efficiency.</li>\n <li>Perform set-up duties and make minor equipment adjustments as agreed upon with Maintenance.</li>\n <li>Immediately stops malfunctioning equipment and notifies supervisor or mechanic that repairs or adjustments are necessary.</li>\n <li>Report to supervisor any situation where the operation deviates from acceptable quality, production or safety standards.</li>\n <li>Monitor raw material usage and report excessive loss to the supervisor.</li>\n <li>Document daily production, as required.</li>\n <li>Maintain a clean and orderly work area and keep equipment cleaned at all times.</li>\n <li>Follow all company rules and regulations, per the Employee Handbook or department policy.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as required. </li>\n <li>Must be able to lift 40 pounds overhead</li>\n <li>Must be able to use hand tools, power tools and high pressure washer</li>\n <li>Must be able to learn to operate machinery via PLC interface </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
