In this role, you will take charge of resolving complex construction project-related issues, disputes, and disagreements, ensuring smooth progress throughout all phases of the projects. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing, assigning, and meticulously monitoring the performance of Construction Managers.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ABOUT YOU<br></span>You are a Senior Project /Program Manager professional with minimum of 15 years of experience in project/ construction management and at least 3 years of experience managing large <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Progressive Design-Build</span> <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">(PDB)</span> programs or projects having construction values <span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">exceeding $200 million (not cumulative)</span> </span>and you have 5 years of experience in public works or large commercial construction projects.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Primary day-to-day point of contact for the owner, contract, and design-builder.</li>\n<li>Provide strategic guidance with project goals and objectives to ensure alignment with the owner’s critical needs.</li>\n<li>Manage and provide oversight to Architects, Engineers, Schedulers, Estimators, and Construction Managers.</li>\n<li>Assist with developing the PDB Procurement Documents.</li>\n<li>Participating in the negotiations of the GMP or Lump Sum.</li>\n<li>Facilities meetings and ensure cohesive, integrated teamwork.</li>\n<li>Review design status and overall construction progress relative to submitted construction schedules.</li>\n<li>Review change orders from all construction projects and assess their impact on the client.</li>\n<li>Develops and implements appropriate risk allocation and management strategies for design-build projects.</li>\n<li>Review status and monitor variances of the construction project database relative to scheduling and cost control reporting.</li>\n<li>Review and verify submitted applications for payment and perform overall fiscal management of multiple construction projects.</li>\n<li>Provide functional directions over areas of responsibility including construction project schedules, cost control, dispute resolution, contract administration, and quality control.</li>\n<li>Coordinate program activities with other client organizational branches and departments</li>\n<li>Review and take recommended actions in resolving disputes related to construction projects.</li>\n<li>Develop and recommend internal policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Perform other related duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><br></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>15 years full time paid professional experience in project/construction management.</li>\n<li>3 years of experience in managing <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Progressive Design-Build</span> large programs or projects having <span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">construction values exceeding $200 million (not cumulative)</span></span></li>\n<li>5 years of experience in public works or large commercial construction projects.</li>\n<li>Experience utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM).</li>\n<li>Leadership experience in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certified projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">PREFERRED LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A valid Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.</li>\n<li>Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) credential. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Design Build Institute of America designation credential.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Citadel CPM is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace environment.
