    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Federal Bid Manager holds a senior strategic role that integrates skills in business development, joint ventures, project management, and strategic thinking with regulatory expertise, all of which are essential to the Company's growth and success in the Federal Market Sector. Reporting directly to the Federal Preconstruction Director, this role ensures that all proposals adhere to the Company’s Federal Proposal Standards, thereby safeguarding the Company’s financial interests and reputation.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Apply and transform your career with us. </p>\n<h2>What you will be doing</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages Federal project pursuits by working closely with proposal manager, lead estimator, business development manager and  Federal Preconstruction Director </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Works with Business Development team to identify opportunities, recommends partnerships for Company pursuit, and coordinates partnership teams to submit proposals within prescribed budgets and timelines.     </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develops and manages pursuit timeline and deliverables, attends all schedule and proposal meetings to ensure submission will include all necessary data and documentation.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Reviews design schedule and construction plans to identify cost savings opportunities within the contract specifications by adjusting quantities, estimate materials or alternative construction methods.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Word with design managers to develop the best possible technical solution.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Develops project specific client management strategy. Manages client expectations and communication based on contract specifications and needs of the Owner.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Works closely with engineers and estimators to develop the budget and secure the final bid price for the pursuit.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Supports the project hand-off between the bid and construction teams to ensure proper execution of construction plans and client expectations. Supports project management team with client relations during the initial phases of project construction, as needed.  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What we are looking for</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>10+ years of Federal construction industry experience related to project pursuits (i.e DOD, NAVFAC, USACE, AFICC), including estimating, project management or business development required.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Deep Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and RFP processes.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Understands constructability.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Able to identify and interpret risk strategies.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership, communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills required.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated experience leading partnering and teaming agreements.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Understanding of cost estimating practices, development and implementation.  </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Strong communication and organizational skills required. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why work for us</h2>\n<p>Some of the benefits you may be eligible for as an employee are:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive compensation package and paid time off program</li>\n <li>Industry leading 401(k)/RRSP</li>\n <li>Medical/Extended Health Care, Dental, Vision and/or Provincial Medical</li>\n <li>Wellness benefits & Employee Assistance Program</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement Program</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are an EEO/ADA/Veterans employer.</p>\n<h2>Salary Min</h2>USD $125,000.00/Yr.\n<h2>Salary Max</h2>USD $225,000.00/Yr.",
