This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission-related software and systems to a large government contract.</p><p><b>Key Requirements:</b></p><p>To be considered for this position you must have the following:</p><ul><li><strong><u>Possess an active or rein-statable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.</u></strong> (This position requires in-scope poly, within 7 years).</li><li>U.S. Citizenship.</li><li>14+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related.</li><li>Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.</li><li>Works well independently as well as on a team. </li><li>Strong communication skills. </li></ul><p><b>Key Skills:</b></p><ul><li>Experience setting up, deploying, and troubleshooting Hadoop, Map / Reduce, Accumulo and Zookeeper – this also extends to current sustainment tasking.</li><li>Tasking would also include troubleshooting and fixing issues – for example off lining an HDFS node because of a bad disk. Off lining an Accumulo tserver processes because of bad memory…</li><li>Familiar with Kubernetes deployment and troubleshooting.</li><li>Familiar with and able to develop and run ansible playbooks.</li><li>Primary development language would be Java.</li><li>Experience writing Map / Reduce applications.</li><li>Experience writing Accumulo iterators and using scanners and Accumulo ingest (streaming and bulk imports)</li><li>Familiarity with the Data Warehouse and their processing pipelines.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size:14px;\"><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><b>Location: </b>Annapolis Junction, Maryland (Partial Telework of 16 hours per week is expected)</span></span><br><em><strong>Note</strong>: Telework granted for this position does not become available until after the individual has been in the position for a period of time, has acclimated to tasking/duties, and has meaningful work that can be done remotely.  Telework can also be removed at any time.</em></p><p><b>Salary Range:</b> The salary range for this full-time position is $170,000 to $260,000.
