Are you ready to join a company where the work you do makes a difference, and where you can grow in your career?  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Here’s what Transcat has to offer—</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work that matters</li>\n <li>A values-based culture where people care about each other and the work they do together</li>\n <li>Flexibility</li>\n <li>Training and development to accelerate learning and career advancement</li>\n <li>Competitive compensation and benefits, including paid time off, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, retirement, stock purchase plan, and MORE!</li>\n <li>Pay Range: $30.00 - $38.00</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Operates, maintains and programs Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), 3D Vision System, Single Axis Measuring device and various hand-tools to perform the following duties.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Reads blueprints, GD&T symbology and apply principles to determine dimensions, tolerance specifications and proper setup for selected customer equipment.</li>\n <li>Able to setup and orientate customer items on various measuring equipment in order to utilize fewest setups as possible for an efficient inspection process.</li>\n <li>Repeats process to cover all sections of customer items</li>\n <li>Compares recorded measurements to blueprint dimensions and tolerances and notifies specified persons of discrepancies.</li>\n <li>Will perform these functions within a laboratory setting</li>\n <li>Model the Company’s values to influence others to perform in an aligned manner.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Basic understanding of CMM Operation/Programming</li>\n <li>X,Y,Z axis</li>\n <li>Vectors</li>\n <li>Cartesian coordinats</li>\n <li>Polar coordinates</li>\n <li>Part Set-ups</li>\n <li>Alignments (3-2-1)</li>\n <li>Datum</li>\n <li>Offset planes and lines</li>\n <li>Translating origins</li>\n <li>Blueprint Reading/Interpretation</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education and Experience</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree (A.
