These safety critical systems will primarily involve embedded software for the avionics and medical device industries.  If you have ever flown on a commercial airliner or been in a hospital emergency room, there is a lot of our embedded software keeping you safe.  This is your opportunity to get involved with all aspects of the full Software Development Life Cycle.  Unlike most companies, we do not have permanent teams.  We put together teams to do a specific project and when that project is done you will work on a new project that could be very different from the project you just completed.  So if you like a lot of diversity and learning new skills, we are the company for you.  Almost all of the work is done in our office and there is very little travel involved with these development efforts.  Our company emphasizes a great work and personal life balance. Salary range for each of our offices is $76,000-86,500 depending on location. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Job Requirements</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have  protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Systems Engineering or similar software development curriculum</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">At least one strong Object Oriented Language (C++, C#, Python, Java, etc.) and academic exposure to software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Embedded software experience is desired but not required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Prior internship is highly desirable but not required</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Highly motivated and a self-starting attitude</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Must have already graduated or be graduating within the next 3 months</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 16px\">Why work with those of us at Performance Software?
