MasTec is seeking a Project Controller I to join our dynamic team of creators and problem-solvers. As the Project Controller I, you will serve as a conduit between operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and financial profitability. This role involves working closely with operational management to perform key responsibilities such as job setup, job / project accounting, billing, cost management, forecasting, and ensuring strong operational and financial controls. Reporting directly to the Business Unit Controller.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>· Oversee the financial results for jobs /projects, including, but not limited to, revenue recognition, accruals, expense coding, billing, analytics, controls, and cost management</p>\n<p>· Partner with Operations, Project Management, and Finance to understand each job projects financial results and report that financial position, addressing ad hock questions as necessary</p>\n<p>· Monitor and analyze customer billings, open POs, expense trends</p>\n<p>· Support Operations and Project Management in forecasting job / project results, including risk and opportunities</p>\n<p>· Ensure adherence to business processes and accounting policies and procedures to maintain an effective internal control environment and integrity of the books and records</p>\n<p>· Manage audit (internal and external) inquiries and ensure timely and adequate responses are provided</p>\n<p>· Maintain compliance with government and organizational reporting requirements</p>\n<p>· Provide consistent and reliable data for ongoing forecasting and planning, including P&L and cash flow</p>\n<p>· Perform ad hoc analysis to understand variances in financial and operational driver</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>· BS in Finance, Accounting or Project Management;</p>\n<p>· Basic knowledge of GAAP, accounting processes, internal controls, and forecasting</p>\n<p>· 0-3 years of accounting, finance or project management experience</p>\n<p>· Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate well</p>\n<p>· Problem solving abilities</p>\n<p>· Highly organized and detail oriented</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>KEY COMPETENCIES</p>\n<p>· Collaborate (Plan & Align, Influence) – Build partnerships & work collaboratively w/others to meet shared objectives</p>\n<p>· Customer Focus – Build strong customer relationships & deliver customer-centric solutions</p>\n<p>· Instill Trust (& Exhibit Courage) – Gain the confidence & trust of others through honesty, integrity & authenticity</p>\n<p>· Manage Ambiguity – Operate effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear</p>\n<p>· Action Oriented – Take on new opportunities & tough challenges w/a sense of urgency, high energy & enthusiasm</p>\n<p>· Drive Results – Consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances</p>\n<p>· Ensure Accountability – Holding self & others accountable to meet commitments</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>H&M Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Females, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities</strong></p>",
