The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient monitoring and maintenance of oil and gas production equipment and systems on our<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">continental shelf platforms.</span><span> </span>This is an opportunity for a skilled individual to work in a dynamic and challenging marine environment with a company that prioritizes safety and professional growth.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Operations and monitoring:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform routine and preventative maintenance on production equipment, such as separators, pumps, compressors, and instrumentation.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular inspections and rounds of the facility, recording key data such as pressures, temperatures, and fluid levels.</li>\n<li>Operate and control the production process from a control panel, adjusting flow, pressure, and temperature as needed to meet production targets.</li>\n<li>Execute start-up and shutdown procedures for wells and facility systems according to established protocols.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Maintenance and troubleshooting:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Diagnose and troubleshoot operational problems or equipment malfunctions and initiate corrective actions.</li>\n<li>Prepare equipment for maintenance work, including isolation, draining, and de-pressurization.</li>\n<li>Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure repairs are carried out safely and efficiently.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Safety and environmental compliance:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Uphold and promote a \"Goal Zero\" safety culture, adhering to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.</li>\n<li>Participate in safety meetings, emergency drills, and incident investigations.</li>\n<li>Utilize safety processes, such as a \"Permit to Work\" system, to safely prepare for maintenance.</li>\n<li>Ensure all activities are performed in an environmentally responsible manner, including reporting spills or releases.</li>\n<li>Follow all company, state, and federal safety regulations, including BSEE standards.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Documentation and reporting:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Complete mandatory paperwork and use computer systems to accurately log production data and report daily activities.</li>\n<li>Conduct thorough shift turnovers, providing written and verbal communication to the relieving crew about ongoing issues or operational conditions.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Team collaboration:</span>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate effectively with other operators, engineers, and support teams to ensure smooth and safe operations.</li>\n<li>Assist in the training and development of less experienced operators.</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED required.
