    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.13.17/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"> <strong>Schedule: 12-Hour -- 2/2/3 Rotating Schedule -- 5:45pm-6:15am</strong></p><p><link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/24.13.17/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\"><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><div class=\"fr-view\"><p>The maintenance technician installs, troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs machinery/equipment, physical structures, and pneumatic/electrical systems in the facility.</p><p><strong>Duties and responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for working with outside contractors who are called in to do repairs</li><li>Conduct minor maintenance of equipment.</li><li>Layout, install, adjust, and maintain a variety of electrical equipment (i.e. wiring, motors,</li><li>switches, and switchboards?</li><li>Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs and electrical mechanisms.</li><li>Diagnose and remedy any electrical trouble quickly to avoid shutdowns.</li><li>Diagnose and remedy machinery issues to determine the necessary repair plan&nbsp;</li><li>Troubleshoot potential equipment problems before machinery incurs additional expenses or production downtime.</li><li>Inspect machinery at regular intervals and execute regular PMs on equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform repair of machinery under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.</li><li>Assist in the installation of new equipment as necessary.</li><li>Perform other assigned tasks as directed by management.</li></ul><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities</strong></p><p>This job has no supervisory responsibilities.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Associate degree in a technical discipline; or 5 years related experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.</li><li>Must be able to work from drawings, manufacturer specifications, and wiring diagrams.</li><li>Ability to use common precision measurement gages and equipment.</li><li>Proven knowledge of two or more specific maintenance trades such as electrical, mechanical, etc.&nbsp;</li><li>Technical knowledge of automated production machine equipment and maintenance required.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with slitting and coating process preferable.</li><li>Must be capable of working flexible hours to accommodate 24/7 manufacturing operations, including weekends, and on-call requirements.</li><li>The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.</li><li>&nbsp;Ability to work independently and take appropriate corrective action when minor problems arise.</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><ul><li>Must be able to stand/walk for 12 hours.</li><li>Must be able to push/pull/ lift at least 45 lbs. individually and 50 lbs. with the help of a team member.</li><li>The employee is frequently required to grasp, walk, bend, reach, squat, twist, and rotate the body.</li><li>The employee may have to reach in odd position and/or lie down.</li><li>Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.</li><li>Must be able to use, handle, and manipulate items and materials, including hazardous materials, with proper material handling equipment/tools.</li><li>Must complete 24/40-hour HazWoper Training and be medically qualified to wear respiratory protection.</li></ul><p><em><strong>&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.</strong></em></p><p><strong>Safety Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Physically able to pass spirometry exam for test fitting of respiratory equipment. &nbsp;</li><li>Ability to wear required PPE (including safety glasses, gloves (nitrile, canvas, etc.), hearing protection, ANSI-approved footwear, and others as required.) in any manufacturing area.</li><li>Ability to wear required PPE if in any manufacturing area.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><em>The hiring range for this position is $50,000 to $56,000 per year.
