Our products and solutions are targeted towards providing superior levels of Indoor Air Quality in a variety of environments including but not limited to oil & gas; water treatment; heavy manufacturing; electronics & semiconductor manufacturing; data centers; transportation; mining;</p>\n<p>commercial offices; restaurants & food service; galleries, museums, archives & libraries – for corrosion protection, odor control, health, and preservation applications.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Equipment Troubleshooting  </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct repairs in a timely manner, monitor operating supply and repair part levels. Submit requisitions in a timely manner to prevent out-of-stock situations.</li>\n <li>Conduct hot work, confined spaces and high altitude </li>\n <li>Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with Company policies</li>\n <li>Keep work area and department clean and organized.</li>\n <li>Follow instructions of the Maintenance Supervisor</li>\n <li>Perform all other tasks as directed by Purafil Manufacturing Leadership</li>\n <li>Train other crew members as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preventive Maintenance </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct daily checks on boilers, air compressors, and dust collectors to ensure optimal performance.</li>\n <li>Conduct preventive maintenance on process and facility equipment, this may include\n  <ul>\n   <li>Changing filters </li>\n   <li>Oiling chains</li>\n   <li>Dust/vacuum particles</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Production Support </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure all equipment is operational at optimal capacity. </li>\n <li>Troubleshoot equipment when the production team is reporting out-of-normal conditions </li>\n <li>Mix dry (powdered) chemicals in blender for shift’s production.</li>\n <li>Assist disc operator with pumping of liquid bulk totes of chemicals.</li>\n <li>Change screens on separators </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Regulation and Compliance </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support plant ISO program, lean manufacturing, and process improvement initiatives.</li>\n <li>Support on regulatory audits, which could include: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Waste-water or Storm water audit/testing</li>\n   <li>Fire safety inspections </li>\n   <li>OSHA / County / Insurance </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Ensure the warehouse, office and building needs are met by conducting the work or sourcing the appropriate assistance, these could include: \n  <ul>\n   <li>Light bulb changing</li>\n   <li>Door repairs</li>\n   <li>Plumbing assistance </li>\n   <li>AC repairs</li>\n   <li>Racking maintenance</li>\n   <li>Floor/concrete repairs</li>\n   <li>Equipment installation </li>\n   <li>Forklift repairs</li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other </strong></p>\n<p>This position is entirely based in a manufacturing environment.  Shifts last 8-12 hours per day, 4-6 days per week.  Most of this time is spent walking and standing on concrete manufacturing floor in extreme heat and cold; climbing stairs and ladders; wearing personal protective equipment including but not exclusive to safety glasses, earplugs, safety shoes, and dust mask. Requires weekend work as production needs dictate.
