In our 75<sup>th</sup> year in operation with a staff of 500 + located across nine offices, we are proud to be one of the leading independently owned engineering firms in the country.&nbsp;</p><p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior Commissioning Engineer</strong> to join our team on a hybrid schedule at our <strong>Alexandria, VA, NYC, Newark, NY or Boston, MA headquarters</strong> (Hybrid).<strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Expand your skillset and have a voice by working outside the box with the way we approach projects at Vanderweil.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Provide Commissioning and Construction Administrative including engineering and technical support on ongoing projects</li><li>Review designs and lead and direct onsite commissioning activities, including technical documentation and contractual requirements</li><li>Ensure all aspect of construction project are designed, installed, tested and maintained</li><li>Assist with identification and addressing of commissioning and construction MEP/FP system operational issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsibilities include development of Commissioning Plans, specifications and finial Commissioning Report. &rdquo;Cradle to Grave&rdquo;</li><li>Maintain strong client relationships</li><li>Troubleshoot technical MEP/FP related issues</li><li>The ability to act as a liaison between Vanderweil Engineers (PIC, Project Manager and engineers), end client(owner) and contractor (including subcontractors)&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Skills:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>8+ years&rsquo; experience in related field (on-site construction experience is required)</li><li>MEP/FP design and construction experience is required</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in related field or related trade experience</li><li>Understanding of HVAC, Electrical or Plumbing controls</li><li>Travel required (No Weekends - limited overnights)&nbsp;</li><li>PE, CX, and LEED Certification is a plus&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Our Flexible &amp; Hybrid Culture<br>&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Compensation range is $135,000 - $175,000, plus bonus and mileage eligible commensurate with years of experience, professional licensure, project exposure, and education.</p><p><br></p><p>We know that work/life integration is important to our employees.
