    "jobDescription": "<h2></h2><h2>Job Description:</h2><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p></p><p><span class=\"emphasis-2\"><b>The Role </b></span></p><p><span>The Business Management Office within Fidelity’s Architecture and Engineering organization is seeking a Vice President (VP), Strategic Initiatives Lead to drive high-impact technology programs and advance our long-term strategic goals. This role requires a results-oriented, executive leader who can enable continuous value creation while driving organizational optimization, operational rigor, and scalability.</span></p><p></p><p><span>We are looking for a <b>VP, Strategic Initiatives Lead</b>, who will own the successful delivery of major programs within a strategic technology portfolio, including initiatives such as platform modernizations, large-scale product deprecations or migrations, and top-priority security programs. </span></p><p></p><p><span>Your responsibilities include: </span></p><ul><li><span>Delivering enterprise thought leadership, strategic partnership, process improvements, and analysis expertise across product management, engineering and architecture teams to ensure we are creating and providing the maximum value.</span></li><li><span>Providing strategic and programmatic technical guidance across teams and business units to relay expectations and guidelines to manage timelines and deliverables.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Working closely with business and technical leaders, product managers, and development teams to advance program agendas that provide executive visibility, transparency, and alignment.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement to provide new and enhanced opportunities for alignment, future direction, and optimization across multiple Business Units.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Influencing others to align to new or evolving standards, best practices, and process improvements.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Designing key inputs and outputs of people and processes for existing and new routines such as QTR, MYP, QBR, Quarterly Plannings, etc.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Delivering clear, concise, executive-level reporting, communications, and documentation to address risks and issues.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><span class=\"emphasis-2\"><b> The Expertise and Skills You Bring</b></span></p><ul><li><span>Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>15 plus years of experience, ideally in program management, process improvement, consulting and/or business strategy and planning.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Program Management Institute (PMI/PMP) Certification strongly preferred.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to understand and resolve complex problems.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Demonstrated executive presence, verbal, and written communication skills.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Proficient influencing and program management skills to successfully drive complex company-wide programs across Business Units with critical dependencies.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Strategic professional with proven success working in large, matrixed organizations.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Able to translate strategy into action that drives clear, measurable, and sustainable outcomes.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span>Highly organized; can work under tight deadlines with strong attention to detail and quick turn-around.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Note: </b>Fidelity is not providing immigration sponsorship for this position.</p><p></p><p><span class=\"emphasis-2\"><b>The Team</b></span></p><p><span>This is an opportunity for a highly motivated leader to join the Fidelity Architecture and Engineering (FAE) business unit and work in a diverse, open and transparent culture where you will contribute to driving efficient and intelligent adoption of our Core and Common Platforms. </span></p><p></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$264,000 per year.  <p style=\"text-align:left\">Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.</p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\">Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
