Managed by (Title): Regional Manager Compensation: $30,000.00 - $85,000.00 Base Salary + Incentives and Commissions FLSA Status: Exempt Last Updated:01/21/2025 SUMMARY Manages mortgage loan activities in a branch office. Provides customers with mortgage loan information and recommends product options. Coordinates origination from application processing to closing of residential loans. Participates in recruiting activities for the branch. Monitors trends and developments in the local real estate market and changes to private and government-insured mortgages. Ensures all lending policies and regulations are followed. KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED Technical Knowledge, Years of Related Experience, Skills, Licenses, and Systems Experience Experience : 3-5 years of sales and lending experience required. Skills: Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills, eagerness to learn and excel working in a fast-paced team environment. Excellent leadership and management skills. Knowledge in lending and credit markets required. Some recruiting experience preferred. Ability to prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate. Ability to maintain an active social media profile required. License: NMLS License (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) Required Systems: Superiority general computer and analytical skills. Experience working in a CRM . Proficient Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams) experience required, experience with Empower (Loan Origination System) or similar Loan Origination System required. TRAINING REQUIRED Participate in additional training on sales, technology, products, procedures and pricing on an ongoing basis. Participate in sales leadership and FAQ calls . Complete annual training as required by company policy and law on an annual basis in a timely manner. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a team of Licensed Mortgage Originators by fostering a positive sales atmosphere. Maintain your own personal origination activities and perform to expectations without sacrificing people oversight. Coach, develop, and mentor the activities and growth of all team members. Conduct weekly (at minimum) check-ins with Licensed Mortgage Originators and support staff. Coordinate monthly one on one calls with your Licensed Mortgage Originators for coaching performance Administer monthly in-person sales team meetings with an agenda. Remain informed of trends and developments in the national real estate market, as well as the changing rules and regulations pertaining to both private and agency oriented mortgages. Complete all required administrative tasks associated with supervising a people and a physical office. Ensure credit recommendations are approved by providing supportive and documented presentations. Regularly work with the Market Growth team to actively recruit Loan Officers for the Branch Follow current loans to ensure conformity and compliance with company, industry, and regulatory standards. Train new team members in various aspects of the mortgage industry, as well as our adopted sales process. Maintain licensing standards in accordance with company and industry. Maintain a positive and customer friendly work environment. SPECIFIC ACTIVITIES Attend and participate in all Monthly Awards Ceremonies, Corporate Gatherings (including travelling to headquarters quarterly) , Sales Calls & Training Events. Read all newsletters and bulletins to remain current on corporate policies, procedures, and developments. MEASUREMENTS OF SUCCESS Creates an environment where compliance is a priority Originate, as a team and individual, quality, saleable loans to the secondary market. Effectively manage daily and weekly/monthly review goals.
