This role is responsible for preparing materials, operating powder coating equipment, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.</p><p>Essential Responsibilities:&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Prepare metal parts for coating (cleaning, masking, sanding, and racking).</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Operate powder coating spray guns and related equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Monitor powder flow, air pressure, and oven temperatures to ensure proper coating and curing.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Inspect finished products for defects such as runs, thin spots, or uneven coverage.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Perform touch-ups or rework as necessary.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Rack and un-rack parts from the paint line safely and efficiently.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Package/palletize finished products according to company standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Maintain accurate production and quality records.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE (respirators, spray suits, boots, steel toes, hearing protection, gloves, eye protection).</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Assist with routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work area.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p>Minimum Qualifications:&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">High school diploma, GED or equivalent required.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Previous experience in powder coating strongly preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW199934041 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW199934041 BCX8\">Ability to read and follow work orders and production schedules.</span></span></li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the day at or above shoulder level.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Ability to bend, twist, lift as needed. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Ability to work in confined spaces and wear a respirator.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Manual dexterity to handle parts of different shapes and sizes.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>Work Environment:&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Industrial manufacturing setting.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Exposure to heat, dust, and industrial equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left: 0px;\">Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</li></ul><p>Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by and employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
