    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Investor Relations Associate &ndash; Job Description</strong></p><p>Scout Energy Partners is a leading private energy investment firm focused on the acquisition and operation of upstream energy assets and associated midstream infrastructure on behalf of institutional investors. Scout currently manages approximately $2 billion in investor commitments across five flagship investment funds.<br><br>Scout Energy Partners is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to work with the Investor Relations team. Scout offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into the institutional investment management business and the energy &amp; real assets business.<br><br>The selected candidate will work closely with Scout&rsquo;s Principal of Investor Relations and the founding Partners of the firm. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working with fund and asset finance, operations, and marketing teams across the company. You will have exposure to all of Scout&rsquo;s existing and prospective investors, which include some of the most elite and thought-leading institutions in the world.<br><br>This position is designed to provide high visibility to Scout&rsquo;s investors and General Partner in a role that will have a profound impact on the firm. You will immerse yourself in industry knowledge, distilling vast amounts of information in a complicated and fast-paced environment. You will have immediate responsibilities that are not available in similar roles at larger firms.</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p>&bull; Managing investor correspondence<br><br>&bull; Building relationships with new investors<br><br>&bull; Facilitating due diligence processes<br><br>&bull; Updating investor documents including quarterly and annual performance reporting<br><br>&bull; Scheduling and meeting with investors<br><br>&bull; Strategizing around marketing campaigns for existing and future investment funds</p><p><strong>Skills &amp; Specifications</strong></p><p>Scout is looking for an exceptional candidate who exhibits strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, competitive drive, and works well with others. The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:</p><p>&bull; Self-starting, motivated team player with strong interest in private capital markets</p><p>&bull; History of strong academic performance and attention to detail</p><p>&bull; Demonstrated analytical abilities and keen interest in investment management, energy, business and entrepreneurship</p><p>&bull; Strong interpersonal &amp; communication skills with the capacity to interact with investors, prospects and personnel across all levels within the firm</p><p>&bull; Proactive, well organized, and adept at managing competing deadlines and priorities while maintaining a positive attitude</p><p>&bull; Travel flexibility is required; this role will require semi-frequent travel to most major domestic markets (New York, Boston, Chicago, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, San Francisco, Upper West Coast)</p><p>&bull; Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required</p><p><strong>Education &amp; Qualifications</strong></p><p>&bull; Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field</p><p>&bull; Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience at an investment firm, private equity fund, asset manager, investment bank, or corporate bank (energy experience preferred but not required)</p></div>\n",
