The Lead Assistant Shift In-charge will support the management of all units, switchyard, and Balance of Plant (BoP), and will work closely with the Desk Engineer and other team members to maintain optimal plant performance and handle emergencies.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p><b>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES</b></p>\n<p><b>Team Lead- Assistant Shift In-charge (Plant Operations)</b></p>\n<p><b>Operational Support and Efficiency:</b></p>\n<p>Assist in the operation of all units, switchyard, and BoP with maximum efficiency during the shift.</p>\n<p>Support routine operational activities such as the lineup of units and their auxiliaries, changeover of equipment, and routine testing of protection and annunciation systems during the shift.</p>\n<p>Support unit wise operations and handle emergencies including load throw off, unit tripping, equipment tripping, and generation loss.</p>\n<p>Participate in cold, hot and warm start-up, normal operations, emergency handling, and safe shutdown of units.</p>\n<p><b>Coordination and Communication:</b></p>\n<p>Monitor loading of machines, switchyard equipment, and ensure coordination with LDC, NLDC, and SLDC.</p>\n<p>Guide and provide instructions to desk and field operators for safe operations.</p>\n<p>Escalate plant operations-related problems and events to the team lead.</p>\n<p><b> Documentation and Monitoring:</b></p>\n<p>Perform BoP area logbook filling and checking for shift activities.</p>\n<p>Manage the availability of BoP area equipment during the shift hours.</p>\n<p>Notify defects in SAP like oil, water, steam leakage, or any abnormalities in equipment.</p>\n<p>Monitor DSM (Deviation Settlement Mechanism) and operate all units to reduce DSM loss.</p>\n<p><b>Support and Emergency Response:</b></p>\n<p>Support Desk engineer during emergencies.</p>\n<p>Execute recommissioning of units after AOH and COH.</p>\n<p>Execute emergency equipment trials and restoration of process and equipment.</p>\n<p><b>Business Sustainability:</b></p>\n<p>Adhere to the IMS, AWMS, DISHA and CHETNA guidelines within the department.</p>\n<p>Maintain the safety of personnel and equipment through proper training and adherence to safety protocols.</p>\n<p>Ensure adherence to compliance with all legal requirements concerning plant operations.</p>\n<p>Monitor operations to ensure they are in line with statutory compliances.</p>\n<p><b>Digitization and Automation:</b></p>\n<p>Support the execution of digitization strategies to optimize operational efficiency.</p>\n<p>Implement automation solutions to support the company's strategic objectives.</p>\n<p>Implement process and system improvements, adopting new technologies and innovative ideas.</p>\n<p><b>Key Stakeholders - Internal:</b></p>\n<p>All departments</p>\n<p><b>Key Stakeholders - External:</b></p>\n<p>Vendors</p>\n<p>SLDC</p>\n<p></p>",
