This role requires a hands-on professional who can manage day-to-day network operations while also contributing to infrastructure improvements, troubleshooting efforts, and project-based initiatives.</p><p>The ideal candidate has strong Cisco experience, thrives in onsite environments, and is comfortable working directly with internal stakeholders to maintain high availability and performance across the network infrastructure.</p><hr><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Administer and support enterprise network infrastructure including switching, routing, and wireless systems.</p></li><li><p>Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers.</p></li><li><p>Perform VLAN configuration, port provisioning, firmware upgrades, and patch management.</p></li><li><p>Monitor network performance and resolve latency, connectivity, or stability issues.</p></li><li><p>Support network refreshes, hardware lifecycle replacements, and expansion projects.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to maintain compliance and secure network design.</p></li><li><p>Participate in change management processes and document configurations and updates.</p></li><li><p>Provide onsite support for escalations and critical incidents as needed.</p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li><p>5+ years of hands-on network engineering experience in enterprise environments.</p></li><li><p>Strong experience with Cisco networking equipment (Catalyst, Nexus, or similar).</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and wireless networking.</p></li><li><p>Experience with firewall administration and basic network security principles.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work onsite full-time in San Francisco.</p></li><li><p>Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.</p></li></ul><hr><h2><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li><p>CCNP certification (preferred), CCNA required or equivalent experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience in high-availability or high-density user environments.</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with network monitoring tools and performance analytics platforms.</p></li><li><p>Exposure to cloud networking (Azure or AWS) is a plus.</p></li></ul>",
