What you will do
Reporting to the Bridge Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following responsibilities:
performing general maintenance, repairs, and construction of bridges, building and ground ;
cleaning, painting, scraping, shoveling, sandblasting, and jackhammering;
loading and unloading supplies and equipment ;
operating various hand tools;
installing signs and controlling traffic;
performing formwork.
Work environment:
Office location: Hanwell.
Work holidays, weekends, shift and/or variable hours.
Exposure to dust and fumes.
Working from heights.

Essential qualifications:
Completion of grade ten (10).
Minimum of one (1) year experience in the operation of light equipment.
Experience with construction / highway .
Valid Class 5 driver’s license as issued by the Province of New Brunswick.

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Written and spoken competence in English is required. Please state your language capability.
