AmplifyBio brings decades of experience to accommodate a wide variety of GLP and non-GLP studies in all in vivo models and dose routes. Among the investments that AmplifyBio has made to empower preclinical assessments of advanced therapies is building a new state-of-the-art analytical laboratory to include molecular and immunological assays that assess critical safety and efficacy indicators for cell and gene therapies during preclinical studies</p><p><strong>AmplifyBio</strong> is seeking a <strong><em>Senior Accountant</em></strong> to join our growing team!!</p><p>The <strong><em>Senior Accountant</em></strong> will perform the day-to-day accounting activities and the monthly close process, as well as ensure the integrity of the department&rsquo;s policies, practices, and internal controls and be an integral member of the accounting/finance team. &nbsp;This role also provides oversight of Staff Accountants through a matrix reporting structure.</p><p><strong><u>What You&rsquo;ll Do Here:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Performs accounting, financial reporting, and analysis of the financial statements.</li><li>Perform operation accounting of key areas including the following:&nbsp;<ol><li>Cash&nbsp;</li><li>Accounts receivable&nbsp;</li><li>Prepaid and other assets&nbsp;</li><li>Accounts payable&nbsp;</li><li>Expenses&nbsp;</li></ol></li><li>Performs the monthly close process, while ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and data integrity.&nbsp;</li><li>Help oversee the monthly close process including organizing, managing personnel resources and quality review of results; responsible for ongoing assessment of the close process to identify opportunities for improvement.  Assures data integrity. &nbsp;</li><li>Performs the compilation and reconciliation of accounts. &nbsp;Assists in the review of reconciliations as assigned.&nbsp;</li><li>Develops relationships with internal and external partners. &nbsp;Responds to internal and external requests timely and completely.&nbsp;</li><li>Help manage the annual audit process and helps to ensure accurate financial information to receive a favorable report from our independent audit firm. &nbsp;</li><li>Assists in the teaching, coaching, and developing other staff members; this is done by one- on-one instruction, directing the employee to the appropriate resources, monitoring the employee&rsquo;s work to ensure they remain on track, providing access to outside training when appropriate and engaging in regular dialogs with the employee to communicate the results of their work. &nbsp;</li><li>Recommends process improvements.&nbsp;</li><li>Performs special projects.&nbsp;</li><li>Other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><u>We Would Love to Hear from You If:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required.&nbsp;</li><li>3+ years of related accounting experience required.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to work independently or as part of a team.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be detail oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task.&nbsp;</li><li>Intermediate analytical, conceptual, and planning skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Intermediate written and verbal communication skills.&nbsp;</li><li>Intermediate analytical and problem-solving skills. &nbsp;</li><li>Intermediate project management skills. &nbsp;</li><li>Strong PC skills including MS Word and Excel.&nbsp;</li><li>Experience with NetSuite a plus.&nbsp;</li><li>CPA preferred.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>At <strong>AmplifyBio</strong>, we&#39;re committed to growing and empowering an inclusive community within our company and industry.
