Must demonstrate competency to work independently in a sleep medicine practice.</li><li><b>License/Certification:</b><ul><li>Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. jurisdiction.</li><li>Board eligible or board certified in Sleep Medicine (ABMS or AOA recognized).</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.</li></ul></li><li><b>Other Requirements:</b><ul><li>Must be a U.S. Citizen.</li><li>Strong background in diagnosing and treating sleep disorders including apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and parasomnias.</li></ul></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Documents Required for Submission:</b></p><ul><li>Updated Resume (With all gaps explained)</li><li>Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any U.S. jurisdiction</li><li>Board eligible or board certified in Sleep Medicine (ABMS or AOA recognized)</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.&#160;</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of patients with sleep disorders.</li><li>Interpret and review polysomnographic studies and other sleep-related diagnostic tests.</li><li>Develop, document, and manage individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic and acute sleep conditions.</li><li>Prescribe and monitor therapies such as CPAP/PAP devices, medications, and behavioral interventions.</li><li>Collaborate with polysomnographic technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate testing and continuity of care.</li><li>Educate patients and families in sleep hygiene, treatment compliance, and disorder management.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (GENESIS).</li><li>Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives.</li><li>Ensure compliance with DHA, DoD, and professional medical standards.</li><li>Provide consultative expertise to other departments regarding sleep medicine cases.</li></ul></td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table></blockquote>",
