Modeled after a Greek monastery, the winery sits 300 feet above the valley floor where visitors take an aerial tram to access the top-quality Bordeaux varietals and majestic 360-degree views of Napa Valley.&nbsp; Closed in September 2020 following the Glass Fire that affected much of the area, Sterling reopened to guests in October 2023 complete with a new gondola system, re-imagined visitor spaces and a fresh take on Napa Valley hospitality.</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\"><strong>About the role</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left: 0in;\">Sterling Vineyards is looking for a Seasonal Tasting Room Support Associate with a background in customer service, a good eye for detail, and truly enjoys fostering a wonderful experience for every guest that visits the property. &nbsp;As a Tasting Room Support Associate, you will be the main point of contact for our guests, so a polite, friendly, and energetic demeanour is a must.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Set-up and host wine tastings and tours for guests</li><li>Provide world class customer service to site visitors</li><li>Assist in events, private dinners and various site activities</li><li>Assist with restocking, inventory, wine packing and floor upkeep</li><li>Register operations, retail sales and wine club promotions</li><li>Follow site policies and procedures.</li><li>Complete projects and other duties as directed by Retail Sales Manager.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>You must be 18 years of age</li><li>You have some experience in retail sales or a similar hospitality setting</li><li>Exemplary customer service skills required</li><li>You have strong presentation skills with the ability to relay knowledge of wines and wine production</li><li>You are dynamic with a positive attitude</li><li>You have a clean professional appearance, and you excel at teamwork and interactions</li><li>Knowledge of food and wine, the wine industry, Napa and Bay Area restaurants</li><li>Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Incentive pay is not guaranteed.&nbsp;<br><strong>Estimated on-target earnings:</strong> $19.57 to $24.33 per hour, based on base pay plus target DSIP at target performance (where applicable).
