We are looking for a Worship Director to be the primary point person for Southall’s worship &amp; production environments</span><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role Summary</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">The Worship Director will be a part of the Worship Arts department that seeks to come alongside the vision of our church by facilitating a culture where people leave our Worship Gatherings saying, “Surely God is in this place.” This person will work with leadership to program worship gatherings that align with Southall’s vision.</span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"> </span><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work with the leadership team to program worship services that align with Southall’s vision and accomplish our mission.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Recruit, schedule and mentor worship team members.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Coach, disciple, and care for worship and production volunteers across all teams, especially in Next Gen through weekly messages, phone calls, and coffee meetings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Collaborate with the Worship Arts Pastor in selecting songs, arranging sets, and planning special services.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Participate in rehearsals, meetings, and creative planning sessions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Help oversee volunteer development in music, songwriting, and worship leading.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Function as the primary point person for all Southall Next Gen worship &amp; production environments (overseeing Worship + Production) from Young Adult to Student gatherings.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work with Production Director to help maintain excellence in sound, lighting, and overall worship environments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Oversee our Next Gen services systems PROS (pastoring, recruiting, onboarding &amp; scheduling) including collaboration with the entire worship department in the execution of team nights and development days.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Raise up and empower area-specific coaches &amp; volunteer staff to grow volunteers teams.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Contribute to the spiritual growth and care of the worship team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Learn from pacesetters and other church’s best practices regarding their approach to worship ministry.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Other duties as assigned</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Additional responsibilities as needed.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Fulfill the membership requirements of Southall Church (commit to model joyful generosity by tithing)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Strong musical ability and worship-leading experience.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Team-building and leadership skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Good communication and organizational abilities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Spiritually mature and passionate about leading others in worship.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Able to work collaboratively and take direction well</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SCHEDULE: </span>Sunday - Thursday   </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">HOURS:</span> 40 <em>(must be available for special events, church meetings, etc)</em></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">COMPENSATION:</span> TBD </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">STAFF LEVEL:</span> Director: reports to the Worship Arts Pastor</span><br></p>",
