At PND Engineers, we are committed to mentoring and guiding entry-level engineers to help them build a strong foundation for success.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-weight: bold\">About the Role</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">As a Structural Engineer (EIT), you will:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Work under the guidance of experienced engineers to assist with structural load determination, perform calculations, and design various bridge and waterfront structures, including:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Vehicle and pedestrian bridges</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Gangways and trestles</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Marine terminals</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Harbors and marinas</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Mooring and berthing structures</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Piers, wharves, bulkheads, and quays</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Breakwaters and shore protection structures</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Learn to develop construction drawings using AutoCAD with mentorship from senior staff.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Participate in inspections and condition assessments of existing structures, and develop detailed technical reports with the support of your team.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Collaborate across disciplines such as site-civil design, surveying, geotechnical engineering, and permitting to broaden your skill set and industry knowledge.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">We welcome entry-level candidates who meet the following qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">B.S. degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited institution.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam or can do so within six months of hire.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g., RISA 3D, SAP) and AutoCAD is helpful but not required—we’re ready to teach!</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">A team-oriented mindset and a willingness to learn from experienced engineers.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Knowledge of basic structural principles and a desire to deepen your understanding of design codes/standards and materials.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Strong communication skills, including technical writing.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Motivation to grow professionally and tackle new challenges.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Willingness to travel occasionally and participate in fieldwork.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">A valid U.S. driver’s license, a good driving record, and vehicle insurance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000\">Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-weight: bold\">Why Join PND Engineers?</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">At PND Engineers, we believe in investing in our people.
