This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a robust program that serves as a consultative service for maternal-fetal medicine patients, neonates, pediatrics, and young adults with complex palliative care needs.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About Our Program</strong> - Our palliative care team is recognized as one of the more comprehensive programs among children's hospitals, offering unique services including:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>An interdisciplinary care model with a dedicated nurse, chaplain, counselors, and child life specialist to enhance the quality of life of the patients served.</li>\n <li>Extensive perinatal palliative care with close maternal-fetal medicine partnerships in the Fetal Care Clinic at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies</li>\n <li>Pediatric hospice management for patients who have a hospice plan of care</li>\n <li>Comprehensive bereavement support in the form of complimentary grief counseling, providing grief resources, and hosting multiple remembrance events throughout the year</li>\n <li>Automatic consultation for various NICU diagnoses (Periviable, CDH, Renal Replacement, ECMO, Complex Care, etc.)</li>\n <li>Outpatient services, including home visits for patients with a hospice plan of care</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Providing patient palliative care services across all pediatric populations from neonates to young adults</li>\n <li>Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine teams to provide excellent perinatal palliative care</li>\n <li>Provide expert pain and symptom management</li>\n <li>Facilitate goals of care and advanced care planning discussions with patients and families</li>\n <li>Provide outpatient palliative care services and collaborate with other pediatric subspecialists for children with medical complexities · Participate in direct management of pediatric hospice services</li>\n <li>Maintain professional consultation relationships across all hospital departments at both Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits Package:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Comprehensive benefits package includes health, vision, and dental insurance, malpractice coverage, disability coverage, deferred compensation, and matching retirement savings options starting from day one.</li>\n <li>Generous starting bonus.</li>\n <li>Annual CME stipend.</li>\n <li>Eligible employer under the Public Student Loan Forgiveness Program.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Orlando is a thriving metropolis with numerous activities and plenty of sunshine to enjoy year-round.
