Tioga Downs is hiring a Table Games Floor Supervisor who will create strong relationships with guests, coach and develop Dealers, and accurately administer and oversee operations in compliance with style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Aptos\",sans-serif;background:white;'><br></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</strong>include the following<strong>:</strong></span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Provide superior guest service, positively effecting interactions with guests and team members, displaying the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with co-workers.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assume overall responsibility for the effective gaming service activities for a designated area.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Verify all gaming table transactions in supervised area.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Inspect cards and other gaming equipment prior to play</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Maintain constant awareness of activities with all games in assigned locations in order to observe and act appropriately in event of any suspicious or irregular activity.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Monitor and track player rating activity according to average bet, length of play and ensure the proper information is entered into the casino CMS system to record player history&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Open and close games in assigned area, verifying count as provided by Dealer.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Control and direct games in progress by monitoring and providing assistance, coaching, and correcting dealers, and notifying the pit manager of any disciplinary action to be issued with a table game employee.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Maintain awareness of how each game stands with respect to player limits, special guests, gains/losses, and dealer performance.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Provide and monitor on-the-job training for Dealers to ensure staff receives guidance, resources, and information for adequate job performance.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Settle disputes that arise from guests in the Table Games area, referring to the Pit Manager or Shift Manager when needed</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Exercise appropriate discretion in identifying situations that require management attention &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Assure relationship-building by interacting and modeling interactive skills with guests and fellow employees, proactively anticipating their needs</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Remain alert to any unusual or questionable activities being displayed by any Table Games employee or gaming guest and report situations to assigned superior. &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Maintain a working knowledge of all local jurisdictional gaming laws, internal controls, liquor laws and table games regulations, department policies and procedures including those pertaining to Federal and Regulatory laws and guidelines including Title 31&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Stay up to date with knowledge of special promotions and events&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Act as a role model, coaching and developing employees using a consistent, approachable demeanor and clearly articulating expectations, holding dealers accountable for performance</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Establish self as highly credible leader with highest levels of integrity, and always acts in the best interests of the property and the company &nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: counsel, discipline and reward &nbsp;&nbsp;</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">High School Diploma or GED required.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Must have Blackjack plus one core game (Pai Gow and Baccarat equals one core game).</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">One year professional experience as a trained Dual Rate Table Games Dealer/Supervisor preferred.</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Strong knowledge of Federal and Regulatory laws and guidelines, local jurisdictional gaming laws, internal controls, liquor laws and table games regulations.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Demonstrated technical understanding of table games manuals, policies and procedures.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Experience and understanding of how to review and comprehend player data and observe play of guests.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">General Computer skills</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Ability to acquire and maintain a NYS Gaming Commission License.</li></ul><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Directly supervises the activities of all of Table Game Associates on assigned shift. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization&rsquo;s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates, addressing complaints and resolving problems.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and possess the mobility to move easily around pit area as well as entire property for entire shift. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, twist and grip items. Must be able to be physically mobile and have the ability to push, pull, carry and lift 40 pounds. Must present a well-groomed appearance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. &nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>WORK</strong> <strong>ENVIRONMENT</strong>:&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Must be able to tolerate areas containing varying noise and temperature levels.
