    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Opportunity:  Painter</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Perform preventative and repair maintenance work to ensure hotel is maintained according to established quality and sustainability standards while treating guests in a warm and friendly manner.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Potential Career Path</strong>   </p>\n<p>Maintenance Engineer - Engineering Supervisor – Chief Engineer</p>\n<p> <strong>Essential Functions</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Conduct room inspections and identify repair needs.  <strong> </strong></li>\n <li>Apply paint to surfaces including canvas, walls, floors, doors and cabinets. </li>\n <li>Install or repair sheet rock and other wall coverings.</li>\n <li>Paint designated areas and items.</li>\n <li>Repair furniture.</li>\n <li>Maintain repair and preventive maintenance records.</li>\n <li>Perform and maintain work to local, state and Federal codes.</li>\n <li>Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. </li>\n <li>Work as a bell attendant in the event of staffing shortages or during peak check in/out periods.</li>\n <li>Follow Service Recovery Guidelines.</li>\n <li>Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program.<strong> </strong></li>\n <li>Practice safe work habits, wear protective safety equipment and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards.</li>\n <li>Ensure overall guest satisfaction.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as requested by management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma and Trade school course work in related field preferred.</li>\n <li>Previous engineer/maintenance experience or equivalent training required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Work Context</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays and weekends and alternate shifts.</li>\n <li>Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, stooping, crawling and climbing.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What We Believe</strong></p>\n<p>People Are Our Capability – Hearts That Serve – Only Excellence – Stay Nimble - Own It</p>\n<h2>About Us </h2>\n<p>This property is a part of the Echelon Luxury & Lifestyle division of HHM Hotels. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>HHM Hotels is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
