About Kraftblock

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Plan, organize, and execute maintenance and repair activities
Perform root cause analysis and resolve technical faults in areas such as instrumentation, piping, static and rotary equipment, DCS/PLC systems
Calibrate and troubleshoot instrumentation and sensors
Operate and optimize electrical subsystems (e.g. drives, fans, relays, breakers, grounding systems)
Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, protocols, and reports (including remote troubleshooting documentation)
Customer Interaction & Field Service
Conduct on-site service visits and system interventions at customer locations (domestic and international)
Act as a technical point of contact for customers and ensure service satisfaction
Coordinate and supervise external service providers and contractors
Support the drafting and management of service and maintenance contracts
System Optimization & Innovation
Analyze system malfunctions and recommend technical improvements
Develop and implement predictive, preventive, and reactive maintenance strategies
Collaborate with software, process, and data teams to create digital twins, condition monitoring, and predictive fault detection dashboards
Support lifecycle innovation by recommending system upgrades and design-for-maintenance improvements
Contribute to HAZOP and risk assessment processes
Develop training manuals and conduct training sessions for plant operators
What do you bring?
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation & Control Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
Several years of experience in service, maintenance, or operations of process or industrial systems
Solid understanding of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems (EMSR)
Hands-on experience with DCS and/or PLC systems (basic programming knowledge required)
Experience managing external contractors and technical projects
Excellent communication skills and strong customer orientation
Proficiency in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
Confident using MS Office; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus
Self-starter with a hands-on mentality, team spirit, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel internationally and participate in on-call duty rotation
