Our goal is to provide a safe, positive learning environment that recognizes the potential of each child. Employees are part time, temporary employees of Metropolitan Family Service.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong><br />\r\nDevelop and teach engaging, age-appropriate lessons with ties to academics, recreation and/or the arts during the afterschool hours</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Supervise groups of 12-16 students while maintaining school-appropriate class decorum.</li>\r\n\t<li>Supervise groups during daily routines such as meal time, recess, bathroom breaks, and class transitions.</li>\r\n\t<li>Record and turn in student attendance daily.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain classroom and school rules to ensure students are safe.</li>\r\n\t<li>Communicate frequently with the CAFE&nbsp;Site Manager about individual student progress, successes and concerns. CAFE activities are not held on Beaverton School District No-School or Early Release Days. Position may have an option of continuing for future school terms.
