The Charge Nurse provides direct patient care while serving as the clinical leader on shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered surgical services.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide clinical leadership and oversight for perioperative nursing staff</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate daily staffing, patient flow, and case scheduling</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as a clinical resource for RNs, LPNs, and Surgical Technologists</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with pre-op, intra-op, and post-op patient care as needed</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and administration to ensure smooth operations</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Address and resolve clinical issues, patient concerns, and staff questions in real time</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in orientation, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assist with quality improvement initiatives and policy adherence</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Active <strong>Registered Nurse (RN)</strong> license in the state of practice</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Minimum <strong>2&ndash;3 years of perioperative, PACU, or surgery center experience preferred</strong></li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Prior <strong>charge nurse or leadership experience</strong> strongly preferred</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Current <strong>BLS and ACLS</strong> certification&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong clinical judgment, leadership, and communication skills</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to thrive in a fast-paced outpatient surgical environment</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;RWHS offers Relocation and Sign-On Bonuses as well as Loan Forgiveness Programs.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;We look forward to speaking with you.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p></div></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
