Description

The Assistant Center Manager a ids t he c enter m anager and ensures the efficient flow of daily center operations . Th ey will provide administrative leadership and supervise team members t o ensur e the delivery of exceptional care and customer service. Location: 7500 SW 8th Street Miami, FL 33144 Duties and Responsibilities : Helps identify areas needing improvement within departments and overall improvements within all centers.    Assist s in interviewing, selecting, evaluating, coaching, and training team members.    Assist s with onboarding of new team members and training.    Responsible for handling Physicians ’ scheduling and cancellations, ensuring optimum service is rendered to the patients.     Maintain s effective communication among team regarding changes and updates of physician schedules, including scheduling, rescheduling , and appointment cancellations.    Coordinates activities such as patient birthdays, holiday events and other miscellaneous activities with the activity coordinator.  Responsible for supervising the Patient Registration process for accuracy including verification of insurance, waivers, assigned providers, etc.     Manage s patient flow along with the Medical Assistant team lead.   Assist s with timekeeping by maintaining employee edit requests, Paid Time Off requests, etc.  Ensures compliance with all licensing including local, state, and federal regulatory agencies related to clinical services provided are up to date.  Responsible for sending Daily Morning Pulse , completing daily center checklist s , and m onitor ing daily huddles.   Responsible for keeping fire drills and dental logs up dated .    Assis t s in keeping inventory of supplies and place orders as needed including office/coffee supplies, pastries, and meals.    Confirm s transportation list is accurate and sent to the transportation team in a timel y manner .   Ensures that phones are being answered professionally and promptly .   Responsible for daily & monthly surveys and foll ow-up to the survey outcomes.   P rocesses Daily Task Reports and follow s up with team members on any open task.   Perform s other duties as assigned. Qualifications / Education / Licenses : At least two (2) years of medical office or healthcare administrative experience. MS Office programs experience. Must have CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Training and certification can be provided upon hire. Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards. Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines , and standard accepted practices . Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Knowledge of medical terminology.
