    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><h1 id=\"isPasted\">Position: Quality Engineer</h1><p><strong><u>Reports To</u></strong><strong>:&nbsp;</strong>Quality Assurance Manager with dotted line to CFT Team Lead</p><p><strong><u>Direct Reports:</u></strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong>No Direct reports for this role</p><p><strong><u>Summary</u></strong></p><p>Quality Engineer responsibilities include the development and maintenance of AS9100/ISO9001 QMS system. Other responsibilities will include the coordination of QC teams, resolution of product issues, and customer support.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><u>Job Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Maintaining and improving the ISO9001 and AS/EN9100 policies and procedures including internal audits</li><li>Perform APQP (FAI, PPAP, PFMEA, etc.)</li><li>Planning, Conducting, Tracking and Reporting all QMS audit activities</li><li>Analysis of internal (trends, scrap, SPC, etc..) and customer to drive actions focused on continuous improvement</li><li>Develop timelines and ensure timely completion of all quality requirements/documents</li><li>Liaison with Customers during visits, builds, NPI activities, process/system audits</li><li>Ensure great customer relations are developed and maintained&nbsp;</li><li>Provide written technical responses to customers on quality issues as well as performing ongoing reporting to customers</li><li>Clearly and consistently communicate customer Quality expectations to the Organization</li><li>Lead/ coordinate cross-functional NPI teams on product launches, apply lessons learned to continuously improve the NPI process</li><li>Assisting or Leading cross-functional team to investigate quality issues and recommend technical solutions &ndash; be the Quality champion for CI activities&nbsp;</li><li>Quality background to include CAPA problem solving and root cause analysis</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to conduct and/or participate in internal training programs and attend external training as required</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated diplomacy and professionalism</li><li>Exceptional organizational abilities with task prioritization, multi-tasking, use of timelines and time management techniques</li><li>Conviction to improve personally and support continuous improvement in the department and company as a whole</li><li>High level of personal integrity</li><li>Professional/mature demeanor under stressful situations</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - effective time management skills</li><li>Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed while having the ability to work seamlessly within a cross functional team environment&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;<strong><u>Work Conditions</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Some travel may be required</li><li>Ability to attend and conduct presentations</li><li>Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals</li><li>Overtime as required</li></ul><p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of three years in Community College with Technology diploma or an Engineering degree preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>5-10 years as a QE or related role in Quality Assurance within a machine shop environment preferred</li><li>ISO9001 &ndash; 2015 Lead Auditor Certification/accreditation preferred</li><li>Ability to read blueprints and proven competency with standard metrology tools&nbsp;</li></ul><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Intermediate level computer skills using MS Office Suite of programs</li><li>Close working knowledge of GD&amp;T requirements</li></ul></div></div></div></div></div>\n",
