The<strong>&nbsp;Business Relationship Specialist&nbsp;</strong>is a key contributor within our branch environment who will manage and grow relationships with business members, deliver high-level service and support, open accounts, identify sales opportunities, cross-sell products and services, and serve as a trusted advisory resource for business members. This role is both member-facing and growth-oriented, operating at the intersection of business banking servicing, relationship development, and sales.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Serve as the primary point of contact for small-to-medium business clients, ensuring exceptional service.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Engage business owners to understand goals and challenges, partnering with internal specialists to deliver solutions and setting appointment through direct outreach.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Monitor account activity, identify opportunities to expand relationships, and resolve or escalate servicing issues.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Open new business member accounts and business services.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Manage the onboarding process, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct needs-based conversations and recommend or refer appropriate banking solutions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Coordinate with branch and Business Experience Team staff to drive cross-sell opportunities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective business members through referrals, networking, and direct outreach.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Meet or exceed assigned growth and relationship metrics.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Conduct reviews of client portfolios to identify cross-sell or retention opportunities.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Participate in sales initiatives, marketing campaigns, and community events.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ensure compliance with all bank policies and regulatory standards.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintain credit and risk awareness in referring financing solutions.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>QUALIFICATIONS:&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business, Finance, or related field preferred.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">3+ years of business banking, commercial banking, or related experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proven track record of relationship management and business development success.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong understanding of business financials, credit fundamentals, and cash flow dynamics,&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to build trust and sell solutions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Goal-driven sales orientation with pipeline management experience.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Service-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Team player with technical proficiency in business banking platforms, and Microsoft Office.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of deposits, cash management, credit, and merchant services products.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:.5in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>WORKING CONDITIONS:</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Branch-based with business location visits, in-branch and administrative meetings, and off-site networking.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Standard business hours with flexibility for member needs.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Travel within branch service territory as required.</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><em>NOTE: Job descriptions are not intended, and should not be construed, to be exhaustive lists of all responsibilities, skills, efforts, or working conditions associated with a job.&nbsp;</em></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>COMPENSATION:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">The salary range for this position is from <strong>$32.01</strong> To <strong>$45.19</strong> per hour.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">WECU provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits with premiums for employee coverage paid in full, 401(k) retirement plan with an 8% annual contribution from WECU, bonus plan, two or more weeks of vacation, up to 11 paid holidays, paid life and disability insurance, annual wellness benefits, loan discounts, professional development, and much more.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>ABOUT WECU:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">WECU is a not-for-profit financial cooperative where members are encouraged to save and borrow responsibly at fair and competitive rates.
