Description

About the Role: The Buca di Beppo Service Supervisor at Summerlin plays a pivotal role in ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest by overseeing daily service operations within the restaurant. This position is responsible for leading and motivating the service team to deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining operational efficiency and adherence to company standards. The Service Supervisor acts as a liaison between management and staff, facilitating communication and resolving any service-related issues promptly. They are instrumental in training new employees, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professionalism. Ultimately, the role aims to enhance guest satisfaction, drive repeat business, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of customer service principles and restaurant operations. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience working in a fast-paced, casual dining environment. Familiarity with Buca di Beppo brand and menu offerings. Certification in food safety or hospitality management. Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and scheduling software. Bilingual abilities to effectively communicate with diverse staff and guests. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily front-of-house service activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Lead, train, and mentor service staff to uphold Buca di Beppo’s standards of hospitality and customer service. Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any concerns or complaints to maintain a positive dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance evaluations to optimize team productivity. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the service area. Assist in inventory management and ordering of service-related supplies as needed. Support management in implementing promotional activities and special events to enhance guest engagement. Skills: The Service Supervisor utilizes strong leadership and communication skills daily to guide and support the service team, ensuring that all guests receive attentive and courteous service. Problem-solving skills are essential for quickly addressing and resolving any customer or staff issues that arise during service.
