Join our team and help us continue to lead the roofing industry.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>The Boom Truck Crane Operator is responsible for transporting and safely operating a truck-mounted crane to support commercial roofing and sheet metal projects. This role requires safe equipment setup, precise material placement, and strong teamwork on active construction job sites.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Drive truck-mounted crane from warehouse to job sites.</li><li>Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and crane.</li><li>Safely set up crane for daily operations, including proper outrigger placement and site stabilization.</li><li>Operate hydraulic crane attachments (humpty, clam, etc.).</li><li>Interpret load charts to ensure safe lifting practices.</li><li>Lift, move, and position materials and equipment as directed.</li><li>Communicate effectively with ground crew using hand signals and/or radios.</li><li>Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies.</li><li>Maintain required inspection logs and operational documentation.</li><li>Identify and report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions.</li><li>Work collaboratively as a TEAM player who gets along well with others.</li><li>Assist with general labor tasks when crane operation is not required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Requirements</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>NCCCO Certification (NCCO Card) required.</li><li>Class B Commercial Driver&rsquo;s License (CDL) required.</li><li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License with acceptable driving record.</li><li>Prior experience operating and setting up truck-mounted cranes.</li><li>Strong knowledge of safe rigging and lifting procedures.</li><li>Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical job duties as required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Compensation &amp; Benefits</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Hourly Pay &ndash; DOE (Dependent on Experience)</li><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Health Insurance</li><li>401(k) with company participation</li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO)</li><li>Career growth opportunities within a national organization</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Commercial roofing job sites</li><li>Exposure to heights, weather conditions, noise, and construction environments</li><li>Occasional overtime may be required based on project needs</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>If you have any additional questions about the position, please contact the office directly or stop in to apply.</p><p>Nations Roof is an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p><p>&nbsp;</p></div>\n",
