    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We are seeking applicants for full time or part time work to provide structure and supervision, recreational activities, skill-based activities, life skills education, and crisis response to boys between the ages of 7-14.  Flexible hours are available.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to</span>:</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide day-to-day care and Supervision for children, such as meals, recreation, counseling, education/vocation needs, parental/nurturing needs, house rules.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Work as a team member with other staff to implement program plans.</span></li>\n<li>Attend paid trainings.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Conform to all state and agency regulations and policies.</span><br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-weight: bold\">Desired skills and Experience</span>: -</p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Must be 21 years of age</span></li>\n<li>Possess a valid California driver's license or California ID.- Must pass a pre-employment physical.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\">Able to pass a fingerprint clearance and child abuse index clearance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span> </span>Must pass a pre-employment physical</span></li>\n<li>- Direct care staff shall meet<span> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ONE</span><span> </span>of the following qualifications:<br>1. A Bachelor of Arts or Sciences Degree.<br>2. A valid Child Development Teaching Permit.<br>3. Completed 12 semester units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Foster and Kinship Care Education and have at least 100 hours of experience working with youth.<br>4. A valid certificate as an Alcohol Counselor, Drug Counselor or Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and have at least 100 hours of experience working with youth.<br>5. A valid vocational training certificate, credential, or documentation demonstrating that the individual is a trade journey person who instructs children in vocational skills and have at least 100 hours of experience working with youth as a mentor, athletic coach, teacher, vocational coach, tutor, counselor, or other relevant experience as determined by the department. 6. Previously been employed as a full-time staff or served as a volunteer at a group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program for at least one year</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>",
