We are a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in General Contracting for Healthcare, Civil, and Mission Critical construction services.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Description</span></p>\n<p>Federal Construction Estimator for Oklahoma City, OK</p>\n<p>Reports to: Vice President and Executive Team</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with the Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate the bid process for vendors and subcontractors.</li>\n<li>Read drawings, specifications, and narratives to understand project requirements.</li>\n<li>Quantify the building elements required for a project by calculating items from construction drawings (takeoff).</li>\n<li>Build relationships and coordinate and communicate with subcontractors.</li>\n<li>Assist with compiling the project deliverable package in negotiated work, including providing quantity takeoff visuals and project clarifications</li>\n<li>Assist with setting up and evaluating bids.</li>\n<li>Coordinate and communicate with Preconstruction leadership and the project team to advance the project.</li>\n<li>Build and sustain relationships with leadership and the project team. Partner with and support the team with tasks as requested.</li>\n<li>Meet deadlines for project(s) by handling deliverables for project(s), meeting associated deadlines, and staying organized.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Required Education and Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>\n<li>Experience in general plan reading and interpretation</li>\n<li>Must be able to pass background check</li>\n<li>Must be able to pass 9-panel drug screen</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Education and Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, or the equivalent</li>\n<li>1+ year of construction estimating experience</li>\n<li>Experience using Bluebeam or other document management software</li>\n<li>Experience using Sage Estimating software</li>\n<li>Experience applying Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) writing standards</li>\n<li>Experience using Building Connected</li>\n<li>Experience identifying discrepancies in drawings</li>\n<li>Knowledge of material costs and experience with production rates</li>\n<li>Knowledge of bid leveling and Bid Tabs</li>\n<li>Knowledge of interior and exterior construction scopes</li>\n<li>Experience meeting deadlines in challenging situations</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Construction estimating: 5 year (Required)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Job Type: Full-time</p>\n<p>Benefits:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>401(k) matching</li>\n<li>Dental insurance</li>\n<li>Health insurance</li>\n<li>Life insurance</li>\n<li>Paid time off</li>\n<li>Referral program</li>\n<li>Vision insurance</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Schedule:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>8 hour shift</li>\n<li>Monday to Friday</li>\n<li>In office</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Supplemental Pay:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bonus pay</li>\n</ul>\n<p>ONSITE WILL NOT CONSIDER APPLICANTS FROM RECRUITERS</p>\n<p> </p>",
