Provides leadership on workplace safety, occupational health, and food safety initiatives with hourly production team members.&nbsp;</p><p>2. Maintains safety/environmental self-audits &amp; visual checks, champions all safety or ergonomic activities for the department and helps to develop and meet plant safety goals.&nbsp;</p><p>3. Ensures understanding of and compliance with all food safety, USDA, HACCP, and Company policies, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements&nbsp;</p><p>4. Adheres to product specification requirements throughout the manufacturing process to maintain the desired product quality results.&nbsp;</p><p>5. Maintains adequate knowledge of products and equipment to ensure the ability to direct employees to perform the job properly.&nbsp;</p><p>6. Plan the day to day allocation of resources (equipment, team members, materials and systems) in order to efficiently, safely and cost effectively achieve performance targets to production schedule.&nbsp;</p><p>7. Document daily production activities and review results against established targets and report variances during on-the-floor and review meetings.&nbsp;</p><p>8. Review daily maintenance effectiveness and work with staff from both Operations and Maintenance to identify opportunities for improvement. Prioritize, request, and ensure equipment maintenance and repairs are completed to maximize efficiency.&nbsp;</p><p>9. Responsible for all supervisory activities including, but not limited to, scheduling, performance, hiring, discipline coaching, training and development and termination recommendations.&nbsp;</p><p>10. Supervise and assist in the training of production processes. Provide training, guidance and coaching to employees in a consistent and constructive manner.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>11. Communicate shift activity to Team Members and keep them informed of the changes to equipment, processes and materials / supplies.&nbsp;</p><p>12. Possess the ability to lead and motivate a team of people to succeed by utilizing appropriate interpersonal styles including leading by example, setting objectives and defining responsibilities to give a clear sense of direction&nbsp;</p><p>13. High School/ G.E.D&nbsp;</p><p>2. Minimum 5-7 year experience on the field (Food Industry is a plus)&nbsp;</p><p>3. Bilingual (English/Spanish)&nbsp;</p><p>4.
