When you’re part of the InterContinental Hotels &amp; Resorts brand you’re more than just a job title.</span></p>\n<p><span>At InterContinental Hotels &amp; Resorts we look for people who are charming, confident, and internationally-minded; people who know what it takes to exceed guest expectations.</span></p>\n<p><span>Be yourself and at the centre of it all.&nbsp; Located in the heart of the entertainment and business districts in downtown Toronto, InterContinental Toronto Centre currently has an opening for a part-time Registered Massage Therapist.&nbsp; If you are passionate about hospitality and take pride in offering exceptional service, we would love to have you be a part of the IHG team!&nbsp; Our colleagues continue to aim higher and show they care about our guests and each other to ensure we achieve our goal of creating great hotels guests love.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>YOUR DAY TO DAY</strong>&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span>Provide outstanding massage therapy to all clients and ensure a smooth daily operation.&nbsp; Deliver professional services that meet the provincial health and safety, CMTO and hotel standards.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Complete all Spa duties and maintain the cleanliness of the treatment rooms, as well as assisting with common areas, and all areas related to the Health Club/Spa throughout downtime during your shift.</li>\n <li><span>Greet and treat guests in a professional and friendly manner.&nbsp; Follow established rules of engagement, e.g., treat each client as if they are the only person in the room giving them full attention, address each person by name, etc.).&nbsp; Ensure all applicable forms are reviewed and completed by the guest.</span></li>\n <li><span>At the beginning of each shift, check all supplies to ensure adequate stock; replenish from the stock room as necessary.</span></li>\n <li><span>Confirm and perform services in accordance to set standards.</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain accurate filing; inventory; prepare receipts, establish clientele and make recommendations to guest regarding services and home care.</span></li>\n <li><span>Assist with orientation and training of new colleagues.</span></li>\n <li><span>Attend staff meetings and training as required.</span></li>\n <li><span>Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Perform other duties as assigned.&nbsp;</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>High School diploma or equivalent.&nbsp; CMTO RMT Standard - RMT from a credited school.&nbsp; Must be registered in Ontario.&nbsp; Two to four years’ experience or an equivalent combination. &nbsp; Must speak fluent English.&nbsp; Other languages preferred.</span></p>\n<p><span>This job requires ability to perform the following:</span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Frequently standing up and moving about the facility</span></li>\n <li><span>Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds</span></li>\n <li><span>Handling objects, products and equipment</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>OTHER</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients and guests.</span></li>\n <li><span>Reading and writing abilities are utilized often.&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Basic math skills are used frequently.</span></li>\n <li><span>May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>WHAT WE OFFER</strong></span></p>\n<p><span>In return for your hard work, you can look forward to a highly competitive salary and benefits package.
