Description Under the direction and supervision of the Program Director, the Program Coordinator I will be responsible for the staff and children in Child Watch, ensuring a healthy, safe and loving environment. The Coordinator I will demonstrate Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility while providing for children’s social, physical, spiritual and mental well-being and will interact positively with parents to develop a trusting relationship. Benefits Included Free YMCA of Greater Indianapolis Membership 20 Hours Per Week of Free Child Care Flexible Hours/Scheduling Retirement Discounted Program Fees Professional Development Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma, or its equivalent and have at least one year of experience working directly with children, preferably in an early childhood setting (2-3 years preferred). Must understand the stages of child development, meeting the needs of the children using the Child Watch area. Must have experience in supervising staff and handling conflict situations with members and staff.
