And with competitive compensation and total rewards, you’ll also enjoy our great perks.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">As an entry level or minimum experienced <strong>Engine Mechanic I (CFM56)</strong>, you'll maintain, repair, and overhaul aircraft engines, modules, components and accessories to assure compliance with established company standards, contractual obligations and airworthiness regulatory requirements. Performs technical troubleshooting using mechanical ability and extensive product knowledge. &nbsp;Cross trains in other complementary skills as needed to support production requirements.</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>What you'll do:</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">CFM56 Engine experience&nbsp;is&nbsp;preferred.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Perform dismantling and assembly of complete engines, modules, components and assemblies in accordance with all customer, regulatory, and company requirements using hand or power tools.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Interpret technical specifications, directives and relevant publications to identify product discrepancies and deficiencies.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Interpret technical standards, drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation using mechanical precision measuring tools and instruments as required; verifies the conformance of parts to manuals and blueprints with respect to measurements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Replace defective parts and reassembles units ensuring conformance with applicable regulations and manufacturer's specifications.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Participate in continuous improvement of cell processes.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Cross train in other complementary skills and seeks endorsements for those skills as needed to support production requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Move between production assignments that utilize multiple skills endorsements as needed to support production requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Participate in cross training of other technicians as needed to support production requirements.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Carry out other duties as assigned.</span></li></ul><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\"><strong>Position Requirements:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics, graphs, blueprints, and other technical information.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">High degree of mechanical aptitude, accuracy and precision.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Basic knowledge and proficient in the proper use of precision measuring equipment.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to follow and understand related company instructions, company processes, overhaul manuals, and original equipment manufacturer's manuals.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Ability to work 1st, 2nd or weekend shift as required.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Must have a high school diploma or GED</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Entry level candidates who have completed a A&amp;P program are encouraged to apply.</span></li><li><span style=\"font-family: Arial, sans-serif;\">Must be authorized to work in the US.</span></li></ul><p style=\"line-height: normal;
