At ENFRA, stability, innovation, and growth are more than just values, they are the pillars of our continued success.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em><strong>This is a sourcing only requisition for future needs with the company. </strong></em></p>\n<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The HSE Specialist Sr. is responsible for assisting in the overall supervision and administration of project safety to maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. This role will also coordinate project safety efforts to prevent accidents and injuries while communicating details of project safety conditions to the HSE Manager, HSE Director, and various levels of project supervision.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Participates in developing and conducting field safety orientation training.</li>\n <li>Daily inspection of machinery, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safe work practices.</li>\n <li>Observes workers to determine appropriate use of prescribed safety equipment, such as glasses, helmets, goggles, respirators, and clothing.</li>\n <li>Inspection of specified areas for fire-prevention equipment, first-aid supplies, and other safety devices.</li>\n <li>Tests working areas for hazard exposures (noise, toxic, etc.) using associated testing equipment.</li>\n <li>Prepares daily report of findings with recommendations for corrective action.</li>\n <li>Investigation of accidents per program procedures to establish root cause for use in recommending preventive safety measures.</li>\n <li>Documents all accidents, safety violations, unsafe conditions or behavior.</li>\n <li>Assisting in development of standardized job safety analysis (JSA), corporate safety and health management program (SHMP), as well as project specific safety plans (PSSP). Conduct weekly safety meetings with workers to instruct them on Company/project safety practices and requirements.</li>\n <li>Demonstrates use of equipment and conducts safety training.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications</p>\n  <ul>\n   <li>7+ years of construction experience.</li>\n   <li>3 year of experience as an on-site safety person.</li>\n   <li>OSHA 30hr card for the Construction Industry.</li>\n   <li>One of the following Certifications: CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, IOSH, STS-C, or Bachelor's degree or higher in EHS discipline or EHS related field.</li>\n   <li>Completed First Aid, CPR, and AED training.</li>\n   <li>Specialized training relevant to scope of work.</li>\n   <li>Working knowledge of safety regulations and hazard control methods.</li>\n   <li>Strong attention to detail with good analytical skills.</li>\n   <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>\n   <li>Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n   <li>Versed in the industry and the Company’s competitors.</li>\n   <li>Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.</li>\n  </ul><p>Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications</p><p>• NA</p><p>Travel Requirements</p><p>• 5-10% of time will be spent traveling to job site(s)/office location.</p><p>Physical/Work Environment Requirements</p><p>Physical Activities</p><p>Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, polesClimbing stairs.Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periodsRepeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers</p><p> </p><p>Environmental Conditions</p><p>Outdoor elements such as precipitation and windQuiet environmentLow temperatureHigh temperatureNoisy environment</p><p>Physical Demands</p><p>Light work that includes adjusting and/or moving objects up to 20 pounds</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Pay Range</h2>USD $36.95 - USD $49.31 /Hr.\n<h2></h2>\n<p>ENFRA is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer of Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, and Individuals with Disabilities, and participates in the e-Verify program.
